Located on beautiful Lower Herring Lake, the Knotty Pine cottage is a modernized version of a classic log home. Walk in and step back into a quieter time, enjoy breathtaking views of Herring Lake and the surrounding hillside from your private beach and yard. Come and relax to the call of the Loons as evening comes and you settle down to hear stories from the day.

The Knotty Pine cottage is fully equipped for your stay with accommodations that include 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed and a bathroom with shower. With the hide-a-bed the cottage will accommodate up to 6 guests.

The kitchen has most appliances, microwave, toaster, dishes, pots and pans and towels.

In addition there are a washer and dryer, bed linens and towels. All you need to bring is your beach towels and gear.

Television reception is not available; however a VCR and DVD are available. Bring your own movies or rentals are available in the nearby Village of Benzonia .

Next door is the popular Herring Lake Retreat , great for the extended families!! There is no telephone but most cellular services are available.
